Champions League Final
I hoped for an exciting contest in yesterday’s Champions League final. Being a diehard arsenal fan, I decided to just sit back and enjoy the game. For most of the first half, ManU looked to be the better side, and the entire second half was dominated by Chelsea. When it boiled down to penalty shootouts, I supported Chelsea. The Red Devil’s emerged victorious.
We have seen it in the past, we saw it happen yesterday and we will see it in the days to come - “The team that entertains might not end up winning “. A famous football player once said “If a team that plays entertaining football has to win the World Cup, Brazil would have won all of them. Winning is not all about entertaining “
ManU played good football and held their nerves till the end.I would be taking away their credit if I call them lucky.I felt Chelsea deserved to lift the cup considering the 90 min + extra time of the normal game. They were unlucky. As for Arsenal, I will be supporting them again in the next season.
